Re: HBO and Showtime available on Rainier???????????

Also, losing HBO on a cable or satellite TV provider is no big deal. Linear HBO on cable/satellite looks like garbage. Even their untouched 1080i H.264 C-band feeds are considerably lower quality than the 1080p H.264 versions available from their channel you can subscribe to on Amazon Prime Video. ...

Re: C BAND RECEPTION ON A 30 X 30 SMALL DISH

Your 30" dish can probably lock the CNN feeds found on 87W and possibly PBS on 125W and some internationals on 97W but don't hold your breath fo...

Re: Supporting the super jack.

I wouldn't lube unless you are in a hot, humid location by the sea where corrosion is a huge problem. Just get a can of anti-rust metallic paint and spray paint them black.

Re: HBO and Cinemax in FP Mode (Free Preview)

Yes sir!

You need a DSR-6000 or equivalent commercial decoder to watch them when they go to FP mode. They are sold on ebay.

Re: Kiwisat is FTA on 67°W

I can't lock these so I can't comment on them, but it was reported at Rick's that there is quite a bit more content on 67w. At least 3 muxes. 11800 H 49000 DVB-S2X 8psk FEC 13/18 11860 H 49000 DVB-S2X 8psk FEC 13/18 11920 H 49000 DVB-S2X 8psk FEC 13/18 Stingray music channels are FTA in the 11920 mux.

Support site for Edision: SatDreamGr

SatDreamGR is a great support site for Edision stb owners and well worth checking out. SatDreamGR images for flashing the Edision can be found at the site. It is an excellent alternative to OpenPLi and OpenATV. :thumbsup

Re: Can any member receive satellite 53.0 W??

The intelsat 23 beam is quite weak for most of the United States and uses circular polarisation. You may also try turning your dielectric by 90 degrees in case you got it inserted backwards.

I wouldn't sweat this one though because it transmits mostly data.
