Re: there are 2 cox sports on 99 satellite

The HD has been there for a long time so nothing new. Lyngsat is substantially behind the charts off of this forum as far as updating the North American feeds. If you take a look at their chart for 105 West as an example they don't show any of the radio channel muxes that have been up there now for ...

Re: Rainier says linear TV is being shut down on AT&T and Dish in 2020

Linear TV is a real-time television service that broadcasts scheduled programs, conventionally over the air or through satellite/cable, not streamed to a specific user. Nearly, all broadcast television services count as linear TV . https://www.muvi.com/wiki/linear-tv.html Glenn is desperate for new...

Re: The Waltons is coming to MeTV on Jan 01

Yeah, I have Amazon Prime but stuck on satellite internet at home so that puts the kabosh on streaming HD. I’ve got fiber at work so that is when I download torrents and put those on my external drives at home for kodi to render. More than one way to skin a cat. Few weeks ago I did a 70gig torrent o...

Re: Mother and son team stream Dish Network content around the globe

If someone needs to watch certain things that badly just get the stupid subscription and be done with it. Is it worth getting nailed with a 3K or more judgement from a court that will rubber stamp the complaint or all the hassle they can make for you? More than enough content for me between the big ...

Re: FBI raiding IPTV suppliers

TVRO with emphasis on receive only. . With IPTV either legal or illegal there is an IP trail leading right back to you. Same thing with illegal card sharing and associated streams. The beauty of our systems is we can receive whatever illuminates our dishes and it’s one way from the satellite to you....

Re: IPTV Hyperinflation? Hulu Live TV raising prices by 22%

...will continue to report the core inflation at only 1.5% or some such silly number. Those that actually go to the store to buy their own food or have to pay for their own health insurance know better. Just another sign of a failing currency and system. Regardless...I'm no longer paying $100 a mon...

Re: C BAND RECEPTION ON A 30 X 30 SMALL DISH

You have more patience than I do to dial it in that good. I have never even tried for KU on my c-band dish as I'm not a masochist.

For me it's easier to have separate dishes and let Mr. KU do his thing and Mr. C do his. YMMV

Re: C BAND RECEPTION ON A 30 X 30 SMALL DISH

"If I could get a subscription service to work on the system when I had Dish TV, with an an excellent picture and sound, and receive all the channels that I paid for, why will this same system not work for KU band or C band". In short the power output of the satellite. In order to use a small dish ...

Re: C BAND RECEPTION ON A 30 X 30 SMALL DISH

I experimented with C-band on my 1.2 meter dish before I got the 10' dish. A regular C-band LNBF with conical scalar as indicated and on my motorized dish. It was basically a toy. I was able to get some QPSK low FEC religious channels on 91W and the Lesea mux on 99W and a couple of the very low reso...
