Another Happy Customer from Europe

All, Someone in Germany sent us these pictures of our 12ft Consumer C Band Dish. He can track the arc from 58 deg W to 68 deg E with excellent results. Notice the custom feed horn cover and multiple LNBFs. If you didn't already know, many of the Atlantic satellites (e.g. 30 deg W - 58 deg W) can be ...

Re: kU Band is ok but C band poor signal

Hi Manny, Your problem is reflector illumination. This is illustrated below. In Fig. 1 , the entire surface of the dish reflector is being illuminated by a ku feed horn that is matched for a reflector f/D = 0.4 In Fig. 2 , the feed horn is actually well matched only for C band . It is not the right ...

Re: xpnds gone

113w 4040 v 2997 This is the only transponder that may give you problems with your 10 footer. On my 12 footer I register 13.5dB S/R. It will be down 2dB on a 10 footer, but you only need 9.4dB or so to lock, so it should be okay. Those with 8 footers may encounter problems. Being a Mexican satellit...
