Re: A daily dose of Vitamin C keeps the Corona Virus away

I think the Linux operating system is named after its founder, Linus Torvalds? Please correct me if I am mistaken. If you read his wikipedia entry, it states he was named after Linus Pauling. I have no idea why. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linus_Torvalds It may sadden some of you to know that Lin...

Re: Free Preview ITC.

On 131W 4000H 30000 SR No such transponder on 131W. Did you mean 4100H ? That would be the Showtime mux. It was in ZK mode over the weekend but now back to FP mode. You can still view it with a dsr-6000. Hi Dishcrank, Thank you for the correction. I do not have a 6000/6050 box, but I do have an ext...

openatv-6.4-zgemmah7-20200402 quick review.

Hello, Having an extra ZGemma H7 receiver, giving a recent openATV build a basic acceptance test (BAT) sounded like fun. Here are some observations: 1. The GUI appearance is more refined and polished overall a. The fonts being used throughout are more elegant. b. The virtual keyboard is much improve...

Best image for OS MIO+ 4k receiver.

Hello, Is there a consensus on which image is the best for the OS MIO+ 4k receiver? I remember openATV 6.3 is to be avoided. The most recent release of openATV is openatv-6.4-osmio4kplus-20200326_usb.zip . I am going to check out open PLI this morning. Any suggestions and information would be greatl...

Re: COVID-19 Coverage (Flu Epidemic)

The virus may not be weaponized. After some research I found the bubonic plague, spanish flu, sars and now coronavirus all originated in China. The Chinese are eating all kinds of wild animals, instead of just domesticated animals. Man has been around domesticated animals for tens of thousands of y...

Re: The Weather Network HD (Canada)

I think there is a bug in the zgemma or unsupported audio for this one. Since the SD version is in the same mux, you can use the audio from that. They are the same. See my post above for the workaround. Have they added the HD feed to 119 also? Since 107 is going adios soon.. Really? I hope no...
