Re: France 24 HD

Hello,

France 24 HD just appeared on 103W, 4140V 30000 S/R, 5/6 FEC and 8PSK DVB-S2 modulation. Beautiful channel on a rock solid C-Band transponder.

Cheers,

Re: New Nasa Mux on 127 W

127W 4009 V 15000 5/6 The new mux uses half the old bandwidth, less power and fec increased to 5/6. You will need a 10 footer at least to receive the new mux. Better than nothing I guess. :bouncybouncy Hello, The three new channels for NASA on 127W 4009V 15000 5/6 DVB-S2 went blank yesterday for me...

Re: C-band satellite TV on OLED

Hi Fatso, Good luck on making a choice. We notice that a lighted room can put reflections on the screen a bit, but the brightness from the OLED display is certainly watchable and enjoyable. We thought it brighter than our old plasma. Just our opinion. I would mention that being able to wirelessy thr...

satellite transponder dl service channel

Hello, I remember someone mentioned that program scheduling data was broadcast on transponder "dl service" channels. Right now I am interested in the "dl service" channels on NBC's Ku transponders on 103W. I tried to find information by searching this site, but the search tool refuses to include "dl...

Re: Could someone post an updated satellites.xml file?

The TP's and Channels change or move from time to time, the best Satellite file is the one you make for yourself. It is not that difficult. The Satellite Chart here on this site is pretty accurate if you need a guide to help you. I always start on the West end of the Satellite Arc and do a blind sc...

Re: C-band satellite TV on OLED

Anyone watching their bud on an 'OLED' tv? OLEDs are the newest tvs with self lighting pixels. No back lighting is required like with LCDs, so you get much better contrast, color and picture resolution quality. They appear to be the future of big screen tvs but are still rather pricey. I figure hig...

Could someone post an updated satellites.xml file?

Hello,

The satellites.xml file I am currently running is a mess. Could someone here post an updated satellites.xml file? The current file is from 2018. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated, as updating it by hand would hurt. Alot.

Thank you very much,

Re: CTV on 119w Sunset

CTV layoffs happened last month. That would explain it. Keeping fingers crossed that they keep at least one feed up during these tough times. https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/bell-media-ctv-layoffs-vancouver Hi fatso, Thank you for the information. I hope the Canadian government steps in and h...
