Starting with the boxing of this 4 foot dish that you can get at Tek2000
Also I got a motor for my 90 cm Ku Band dish that I am :bananna: to set up
The 4 foot dish I intend to be Portable  so I can set it up and show it off to people.

One trick you can use with a c/ku type LNBF to improve ku reception on your 8-footer is to unscrew the ku LNBF (at the back) and then tape it beside the c LNBF so they ride together 'shot-gun'. You will have to make a hole in the scalar ring. Even though the ku LNBF will be off-boresight, its exposed little scalar ring will give you significantly more gain than it possibly could when buried inside the c-band waveguide.

Most serious satellite enthusiasts do this or use separate dishes for the different bands.
