Woooo...very nice looking unit foxcreek!

New or used and what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? I have been looking for a good analyzer too, up to 6 GHz but they are so damn expensive! Anyone know where I can get a new one for under $5k? :thinking

elko,

Yes I do just happen to have at least one more of these.
I purchased the HP8591E from a good friend. This particular
analyzer is perfect for satellite work. First of all it's input impedance
is 75 Ohms and the frequency range is 1.0 Mhz to 1.8 Ghz.
It is in extremely good condition. It came out of a rack mount.
the freq range is basically our I. F. range. So this analyzer is the
one you need. New this thing sold for $40,000.00.

I' ll sell you one just like it for $2,000.00 ! Are you interested ?
Let me know asap because these won't last at this price !

Gee, thanks for the offer foxcreek!

I was kinda hoping to get my hands on an analyzer with a 6 GHz bandwidth though...I do serious RF circuit design for the company I work for and they have all kinds of test equipment, but I sure would love to have my own personal analyzer at home!
