Need help with AJAK 180 HH Motor

Post by Dishman Dan » Sat Nov 29, 2014 9:36 pm

I picked up a really nice AJAK 180 H to H motor recently and am making plans to put it to use next year. I have not found much info about it online so any documents or know how would be greatly appreciated! My dream is to set it up on a 12 footer but right now I do not have one. There were two 12' BUDs that I found in my area but they ended up in the hands of scrappers so I am considering a 12 footer from one of the sponsors here. I am a little confused if both offer the same Canadian made BUDs so more info will be needed on those too. Correct me if I am wrong but from what I read the AJAK 180 will handle a 12 footer with no problem.

Cool...do you pictures you could post?

Most of use would kill for H-H c-band, but nobody sells them anymore.

I have an H to H "radio Shack" 9' mesh. Because of where I live[ in the niddle of California], I use a little more than half to the travel. I can "see" from 55w to 139w. I still have room to move further west but there is not much recievable out over the Pacific for me. An H to H would be good for those that live in the middle of the country, be it the USA or Canada. Jess out in California
9' mesh with c/ku feed horn, lnb's w/polorotor. Recievers hooked up: AZ prem hd., Pansat9500,and Manhattan. I have a few others in my colection including an old Satcruiser and a Captiveworks3000.

I have one of those Radio Shack H to H mounts with a burned up motor. It belonged to my brother in law until my dad hit his BUD with the combine while shelling corn. The BUD was scrapped but I saved the mount. The open gears are in great shape! Do you know where to get a motor for the unit???

The Ajax 180 can handle a 12 foot with no problem. They are great H to H movers.

dishman dan; If you still have the motor, it might just need brushes. I put brushes in mine [out of another old motor] a little over a year ago and got it workind again. The orginal brushes were worn down to nothing. If anyone has a place to order motors for these, please post. Jess out in california
