When your diseq box loses its mind.

Post by belter-one » Thu Mar 28, 2019 12:54 pm

Hello,

Recently, my diseq box stopped recognizing its positions, after my dish was blown off axis by wind gusts. A quick reset to clarke belt zenith, however the diseq still would not recognize the positions that had been saved off, throwing an "Err2". I was about to remove the electrical tape from the actuator arm box to check for water, when I decided to give the diseq box the ms-windows treatment:
1. Powered down the diseq box.
2. Unplugged the diseq box's power chord.
3. Plugged the diseq box's power chord back in.
4. The diseq functions normally again, navigating to its previously saved positions.

Hope this saves someone some grey hair someday,

I have one box that I've had for years. No problem
The new box I got a year ago. Just died. Out of the blue.

I had a few times it would. Not respond to the box changing satellites. This happened a few times.

And one day. It would not work. It would not read or count anymore.

Now
I have 3 satellites. 1 7 1/2. And 2 10 footers. And all them work with the over box.
