Receivers setup

Post by Moosehunter63 » Tue Feb 28, 2017 11:49 am

Back again guys! Just received new receiver(open box 25) new hd 36" positioner, and controller , LNBF .
Frost should start to go soon, so I should be able to put post in ground(got caught b y winter last fall).
So I understand I need to program receiver and controller .
Hope I can get that done while waiting on spring!
So, help!! Should do receiver first? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Will check back tonite.
It was only -16C last nite!! Spring is coming.

Hi; I read your posts. What size dish do you have? The 2X2X3 deep should be OK. I have a 9' with a 3X3X3X3 pad. The post with the dish extends about 10" and is attached to the eave of a back porch. You need to get your dish up first before you do any programming. You say you have a positioner and controller. and a receiver. Good start! Jess out in California
9' mesh with c/ku feed horn, lnb's w/polorotor. Recievers hooked up: AZ prem hd., Pansat9500,and Manhattan. I have a few others in my colection including an old Satcruiser and a Captiveworks3000.

Hi Jess76, I have 10ft dish, 4x4x1/4" post going in ASAP, mainly waiting for weather, before I can get post in place.
Looks like supposed to start warming up soon!
