That's good to hear. I have been having trouble getting 3820H as well as the 4k demo feed. I am able to get the 3 NASA channels and 5 more channels that are scrambled. My NASA signal strength ranges from 32% to 49% depending on the atmosphere. I am re-examining the dish alignment. Would a signal booster help? If so what brand? Any information would be appreciated.

Loving NASA UHD,

John

No need for a signal booster because your LNBF (or LNB) is already performing this task. Unless your cable run is more than 200ft, no need for a signal booster. Nasa is a really strong signal on 127W for me, so you probably just need to peak your dish. If it is low on the horizon, try adding/subtracting declination to see if that helps. If you got a 10' or 12' dish, everything on 127W should scan in. If you got an 8' dish, it will be hit and miss on some of the weaker transponders.

The weakest transponder for me is the UHD one (4170H). I see some monkies bathing and some other nature programs in 4K, but nothing to write home about. You can find a lot more 4K content on 101W. Even the stuff on 101W is by small independent programmers and nothing yet from any major programmers. C'mon guys, step up to the plate. Unless NBC, CBS, ABC get the ball rolling with some full-time 4K programming, this ship ain't going to sail...

Thank you for the useful reply,

You saved us some money. We'll work on the alignment, trim some foliage and consult the oracle at Delphi :-).

Best of luck,

John
