I've been into TVRO for decades, back to the old analog days, complete with VCII. Don't know how I've managed to not know about this site.
I have a 10' and a 12' dish (old picture-10' replace with a newer 10'). For PeeCee reception using TSReader, I have a TeVii USB receiver and a new TBS-8922 PCI receiver. For hardware I have a Advantech SBR-75 and a Tandberg RX-8310, both of which feed an ASI card. TSReader is used to access the ASI cards. I have a few other older hardware digital receivers that are no longer used. For positioning the two dishes I use a Zenith 8000 for the 10' and a Drake 1824 for the 12'. Those are the receivers from the old analog days.
Well, that is me and my gear.

Oops. forgot to mention that I have a old Paraclipse pointed at PBS Ku, which feeds input 3 of the Tandberg. And another old parabolic aimed at NBC Ku, which I really only use for the Olympics.

TVRO is a fascinating hobby and you get to watch free TV too. Who could ask for anything more?

I do not go after any of the FTA transponders, as I cannot stand commercials and snipes and bugs. I go after the Canadian feeds (a vanishing breed) and the backhauls of awards shows, etc. But, that is me.
