ZGemma 4K Blindscan

Post by tvroadmin » Thu Mar 15, 2018 5:31 am

All,

You can now perform Blindscan on your ZGemma 4K satellite receiver and find all those 4K wild feeds!! :bouncybouncy

Please follow the instructions in this tutorial:

Tutorial 6(a): Software Blindscan

You must have the latest Master Channel Listings loaded to your receiver.

You can choose between 2 methods:

1. Fast Blind Scan (30 minutes) ~95% accurate

2. Accurate Blind Scan (up to several hours) ~99.9% accurate

It works on both C-band and Ku-band satellite signals. To speed up Accurate Blind Scan, you can pre-select a symbol rate range. The blindscan methods will be improved with each Master Channel Listings update and get better and better.

Keep in mind that some images will perform both DVB-S2 and DVB-S blindscan simultaneously (e.g. OpenATV6.0), while others require you to do DVB-S2 and DVB-S scans separately.

Thanks to all who helped make this possible!

When you create a favorites list, dreamset will store it as "userbouquet.nameofyourfavorites" within the lamedb directory. You can then copy and paste this bouquet to any other lamedb directory (like Master Channels) to save you the trouble of redoing it.

It is software blindscan and works just fine. I use it to find the fat transponders (sr 30000) on the sats.

You do not need a computer and no tools for a real Blind Scan !!! Only a receiver that searches for all the frequencies and programs that are not already in the receiver! Author is very Big Jocker!!! :hammerme: :hammerme: :hammerme: :hammerme: :hammerme:

We do not need Blind Scan to find frequencies with high SR. This can be found almost every "canister".

Is that you again, Glen Musielak? :yawn

At least the ZGemma can perform blindscan, decode 4K programming, decode h.265 transmissions, stream content, display epg information, has DVR functionality, dual DVB-S2 tuners, ATSC tuner and much, much more. And it works flawlessly on every channel/mux across the arc, contrary to the lies and misinformation you are busy spreading all over the internet so you can con people into paying $750 for an obsolete piece of junk that even AFN had enough sense to discontinue.

The google bot should be here any minute to record your latest attempt to discredit this receiver....goodbye and good riddance!! :kook
