UHDTV programming

4140 - V - 30000


UHDTV channels are starting to pop up on C-band. Some are itc and some are encrypted.

I don't think any current model FTA receiver can display these signals, so you can only view them on a computer for now.

I believe DirecTV will be offering UHDTV programming starting in Q2/2015 so most likely headends are starting to uplink the new goodies...

The 4k feeds courtesy of SES seem to be up full time now.

Well for me 720 or 1080 is good enough! My Tv in the bedroom only does 720, and the one in the living room does 1080. To get the 4K would require another TV. I'm not sure if that's a good idea though. If the picture looks to "real", it might scare my dog! Jess out in California
9' mesh with c/ku feed horn,lnb's w/polorotor. Recievers hooked up: AZ prem hd., Pansat9500,and Manhattan. I have a few others in my colection including an old Satcruiser and a Captiveworks3000.
