OTA section
There are ch's that show up on sat and also on OTA. For those that can't recieve sat ch., OTA might be the next best option. I live in the middle of California, and can recieve OTA from several different locations. The "Movies" ch. [ses sat] will be replacing "This" on a sacramento TV station in Jan. Jess out in California

Re: OTA section
There must be a hundred different OTA markets in the USA!
Maybe Admin can create one sub-forum dedicated to discussing terrestrial OTA. Who knows, it might even bring more antenna sponsors here too!

Re: OTA section
I thought this might be a good topic! Thanks for the agreement. as long as there is a los you should be able to recieve from 70 miles, depending on the transmitter power. This whole ota is changing and growing. For those that use a Linkbox local for their sat signals, remember it has OTA also. If you still have an antenna on the roof, conect it up and see what you can get. Both my TV's have digital, but pretty much non existant epg. I picked up an Iview 3500 with a pretty good epg, and will record with an added hdd. Got it for $38.00 from Amazon. Everyone have a merry christmas, or happy holiday. Jess out in California

Re: OTA section
Apparently the xmitters are both 3kw..using a Pansat 9200HD for the tuner.I find its not very sensitive..on satellite anyway..so I bought a MicroHD for satellite and it works excellent..have to see how Pansat performs on ota.

Re: OTA section
3kw will not make the 70 miles needed. I live up in Ceres [by Modesto}Ca. and there are a few low power transmitters that I can't get. The transmitter power from Fresno needs to be 150 to 200kw to be stable for me. Jess out in California

An OTA section has been added, along with a forum for discussing terrestrial antennas.
