Retro TV Mux on 113W

Post by Arion » Mon Dec 24, 2018 8:43 am

Found this reported over at Rick's but the Retro/Family/Action mux on 87W has now been replicated at 113W and that works out well for me because I'm usually more on this end of the arc anyway. Hopefully it's a permanent move.

Thanks, super strong signal for me. :bouncybouncy

Gotta love Retro TV programming from the fine folks at Luken. The new mux could be temporary dual illumination for a problem station or they could be expanding into the Mexican and South American diginet market. :thinking

Yeah, I'm quite a bit stronger on 113 as I had to detune 87W [my due south] a bit to pull in the ends of the arc. I was thinking it's probably for west coast stations that want to run them OTA as subchannels.

Retro TV has switched transponders. New freq = 4040 , polarity = V, sr = 30000, sat=113w

They are using the old transponder to test something new, possibly HD programming? Freq = 3920, polarity = V, sr=36300, sat=113w. It is 16APSK, so only compatible receivers can see it.
