English stream is not english?

Post by belter-one » Sat Sep 07, 2019 3:08 pm

Hello,

There is this awesome channel about nature, animals and the Earth, HITN, on Galaxy 23 121W. The ZGemma-H7 receiver indicates there is an english audio track. When selected this audio track is in spanish. When a file from this channel is probed with ffprobe, it states there is an english sound track. When the spanish sound track is removed using ffmpeg, the remaining english sound track is in spanish, not english as it is labeled as. I guess our only remaining option is to learn spanish, which would be fun?

Scanning the skies for beauty,

HITN is a Spanish language channel. http://www.hitn.org

There is a 4K Nature channel (Love Nature) on 43.1W:

4185 H
DVB-S2
(8PSK)
20700-5/6

The Discovery channels are also itc on this bird. I think most of us east of Colorado can lock it without any problems. If you are west of Colorado, it will be very low on the arc but some of you might be able to see it. Attach your actuators on the "east" side of the dish so it won't flop over.

Can anyone near the west coast see 43.1W?
