There are men's dishes and boys dishes That thing's in the men's category.filister wrote:My choice is for a 12ft'r of course.

I am too cheap to pay for a banner slot to hawk my products so I spam this board instead. I am intolerant of the c band community, so I belittle them under different aliases. I post fake news on the guitar man's website. Now I am no longer welcome here.

Yes, drove it about 5 miles to my place about mid-morning. Very little traffic. Two senior cops directing traffic just happened to be along the way & gave thumbs up.skink wrote:You drove down the street with it hanging over the edge like that? How far was the trip?

Re: Dish Size Poll
I bought an 8 foot mesh from tek2000, but wish I had bought a 10 foot dish. However no money to spend on one. Have to make use of the one I have.

Re: Dish Size Poll
Well,
We got a 10 footer, but I am voting for a 12 footer. We might get a 12 footer or larger, some day if it is needed. So far so good with the 10 footer. Hopefully 5G does not change things
Scanning the friendly skies, :-)

Re: Dish Size Poll
For most serious home satellite TV enthusiasts in the continental USA, the 10 footer is the recommended dish size. It will lock all USA/Canada transponders including the 16APSK ones. It will also lock all but the weakest Latin American transponders. The 12 footer is good to have in say northern Canada or Mexico and the Caribbean where satellite beams are weaker.
The 8 footer is only recommended if you can't afford or don't have the room for a 10 footer. It will lock almost every transponder, but will be on the threshold of reception for some of them, which can at times be frustrating if a nice feed pops up and you struggle with it.
