Hello,
A blind scan of 103W for Ku transponders yields a lot of transponders, but not the ones I am looking for. Especially:
12144 V
DVB-S
QPSK
20000-3/4
This transponder carries among other channels NHK World. Is this transponder still up and running? Any information on this will be greatly appreciated. One can no longer go to that one website to find out which transponders are active on which satellite, unless one is willing to pay $20.00/month.
Cheers and a good night,

Is this transponder still there?

Re: Is this transponder still there?
Hello,
Thank you for this extremely useful information. I am able to get some of the transponders in at 12.00 SNR or higher. So tree growth took the signal strength from 12.0 to 0.0 in about one week. I love trees, but I am going to trim them. Sounds like fun.

Still there, but you can receive NHK, CGTN on 58W, 55W C band with better picture quality. The only real goody on 103W ku band is 11910 H 4600. That mux carries MSNBC full time and on occasion, things like CNBC, Weather Channel and other stuff owned by NBC.
