Re: Which Antennas (size + manufacturer) work for D/N on 97W?
I have tried LNBF's separately for cband, and ku band. On my 6 foot dish. Have also tried combination c/ku LNBF's. I decided to try a Chaparral that had the capability of ku and c band, plus the servo motor to change things. Applied higher voltage to the critters, and things started working on ku. T...

Re: New FTA Mux on 119
Hello gentlemen. Thanks for the input. After being referred to the Wikipedia information, I had to stop and realize I needed to go back to 'kindergarten' school again. My problem was very basic. Lack of having the horn centered properly. Ku comes in great now! This 40 year old dish has the three lon...

Wi-fi interference?
Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. 'Live and learn'. About eighteen months ago, I added ku onto that dish, and got everything. I obviously now have tons of stray rf from other sources now. Walk outside, and the meter starts 'beeping'. Before I hook it up to the dish! Wireless cameras are useless a...

Re: New FTA Mux on 119
Hi! In reference to MUX's... Been having a problem with my old SRC solid ten footer, and have spent a lot of money trying to get the MUX of stations back east in USA, on 103, to no avail. Can get them on the four footer, and the six footer. And the three footer. Put in an inexpensive LNBF, and get s...

Re: Alaska Mux is ITC
:sayingbye I gotta laugh, Glen..you have made that statement before! Why not go 'invade' another forum, and leave these folks to enjoy their 'legal' hobby? One individual has already exposed you. Apparently some folks already realized who you were. Personally; I already thought they knew who ...

Re: Which Antennas (size + manufacturer) work for D/N on 97W?
Hi Glenn, I am more a novice than you. I am watching the mux so many speak of right now. I am located in the Midwest 10 foot Perfecto dish, old 4Dtv using as a dish mover and with GeoSat HDVR3500. The weather is cloudy and snowing. 97 comes in about 80% of the time sometimes on clear days it doesn'...

Re: Which Antennas (size + manufacturer) work for D/N on 97W?
Brian what would cause this and only with this mux . When I use to try to watch the dish would be need to be bumped to the west later in the day and to the east earlier in the day to stay locked. And no I don't have slop in my actuator or mount. Glenn; That sucker is moving and changing the db leve...
