Thank God I finally unjammed it by locking one end at the inner bolt and hammering the sliding tube inside very hard ina an anticlockwise direction.

Not sure the make of the actuator,but I have rarely hear them stuck unless the tube is bent or the sensor is bad or wires have come loose.What have you done to troubleshoot the problem? It's the "superjack 18" QARL sold by tek2000. I've realized it has jammed ie the the moving nut ( attached to the...

Locked Actuator

I've had an 18" heavy duty actuator bought from Tek2000 for about a year.
Has been working well however it has suddenly got stuck at a fully retracted position.

When power is applied, it rotates but doesn't extend an inch..

Solid dishes are way better than mesh dishes in performance. Not just on ku but also on cband.

Next time you are flying on a Boeing jet and cruising at 30,000 ft when suddenly the aircraft goes into a " death dive ", at least you'll know why.
