This looked like the place for this post. When our 4dtv sub ended , we went with AT@T Uverse. Well...Uverse was not available where we live . AT@T gave us Direct tv along with our phone. The first year wasn't bad, but we got hit on the second year....

Since Dish has quite a bit wide open, I was wondering if DirecTV has anything open?

I know you need a special tuner and all that, but has anyone tried?
