USALS for C band screwjack

Post by Foxcreek » Fri Nov 13, 2015 6:14 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone out there been able to utilize USALS with a C band dish screw jack ?

Is there a C band screw jack dish mover that operates on USALS commercially
available ?

I have a Stab HH 90 on my 90 cm geosatpro running USALS from my Linkbox
8000 HD and it works flawlessly ...... I want that degree of control for my C band
dish !

I'm not a software guy but I would think it would just require a modification of the
USALS software utilizing a linear screw jack in place of an HH drive motor.

Rusty,

DiSEqC works too ! However In my humble opinion USALS is AMAZING !

I'm thinking this might be my next project.
