Hello,

After replacing my actuator with a brand new one, we decided to try "the snake" on the actuator to provide extra protection from the elements. It was soon evident that the snake was restricting the actuator arm's movement, and appeared to be acting in a manner that could be problematic, IMHO. So off the snake did go. I am very grateful that it was designed in such a way at to be removable without uninstalling the actuator, though removing it was somewhat of an enjoyable barn job. Please see the attached photo for your enjoyment.
