Dish trying sabotage Elon Musk's Starlink Service

Post by rusty » Fri Mar 19, 2021 3:29 am

:boo!

Dish claims Starlink will cause massive interference to its DBS customers. If true, Dish customers can simply move to Starlink and stream TV for a fraction of the cost. But it will still be satellite TV, except delivered by :respect Elon. :lolsign:

Charlie Ergen wants Starlink to be shut down by the FCC because Echostar owns Hughes Satellite internet (97w and 107w ka band), a service which would be made redundant once Starlink is fully rolled out. Dish would also be rendered obsolete in rural households that would have access to broadband for $99 and could stream TV programming for next to nothing.

I'm no fan of Elon Musk, who appears to be a front man of the Globalists Oligarchs who are rolling out Starlink with the help of the deep state and mostly on the tax payers' dime. The Starlink Network will provide the US military with near instance communication links anywhere on the planet, enable unprecedented worldwide surveillance and double as a broadband service for rural rednecks. Somehow, I don't think Charlie Ergen, who appears to be a bottom feeder in the Globalist hierarchy, will be interfering with these plans.

Ergen can go suck a lemon. Say what you will but the likes of Bozo's [Bezos] and Musk have stayed up with technology and are on the forefront of change. The Sears and Dishnets of the world are stuck in the technology of last century. Think of what Sears could of done with their huge distribution network if they would of embraced e-commerce first before Bezos came on the scene. It's kind of like Blockbuster trying to hold on when the world moved far beyond their business model.
