People are simply leaving satellite TV and moving to streaming TV. A large number of people live in cities or suburbs with high speed internet access and are leaving Satellite. Streaming TV was up 32% in 2019 and up by 58% in 2022 with many that now pay for three or more different streaming services as of 2022,

There is also an ever increasing number of totally free TV streaming services like (Pluto, Vudu, Crackle) that many pay TV stream viewers are also using.
