10' Tek C-band dish, 1.2 meter KU band dish, ASC1 mover, Octagon/Zgemma/Edison dual band STB's. Running OpenPli on all.

Can't get a good lock to confirm but according to Rick's this is an iptv feed that has now gone encrypted. Beam boresight for this sat is over Argentina so most in USA with small dishes will struggle to receive it. There is another mux on this same sat at 3790 H 8200 which is even weaker for me. You need 10dB+ C/N to lock these.

the Zgenna scan in fine. but does it have a picture.you don't say if it does. my box scan in but no picture just trying to find out looking for new box i no the octagon have a picture on 81.w . :thinking
Mystery solved. :hat

There will be no picture on both the ZGemma and Octagon because the signals are XCrypt encrypted (whatever that is). More importantly, would you even want to see a picture of these signals? :thinking Whoever is broadcasting these must be cheap as hell because they're coming down at dial-up speeds.

If you want to tune your local ATSC signals, you are better off purchasing the ZGemma. As far as I know, the Octagon has no ATSC tuner and costs more. :thumbsdown

By the way, new ZGemma 4K stock is arriving at our loading dock today, so the $219 USD special ends at midnight today (instead of Dec. 15th).

They play fine on my zgemma. They are currently unencrypted again except for Fox Sports. They only lock when I get 11.0 dB signal quality. They are similar to the D/N channels we got last year on 97 west.

Nothing for me at 3790. Only 3850 H 13500. I count 15 channels so far. Someone needs to keep any eye on this bird.

All,

If you are in the market for a new 4K receiver, I can confirm the ZGemma4K is working on these channels as of this morning. The signal is also noticeable stronger for me today, but that could be because a blast of arctic air has moved into my area causing temperatures to plummet and also thermal noise to drop. This arctic air mass is heading all the way to Florida, so those of you with smaller dishes along the east coast, give this mux a try over the next few days because you may just lock it!
