TVRO with emphasis on receive only.. With IPTV either legal or illegal there is an IP trail leading right back to you. Same thing with illegal card sharing and associated streams. The beauty of our systems is we can receive whatever illuminates our dishes and it’s one way from the satellite to you. With the plethora of programming available on the arc (much of which is not encrypted) there is no way a third party can know what you are watching. With my big dish and occasional legal streaming such as YouTube I can see pretty much whatever I want and I don’t have to pony up a subscription fee every month.
10' Tek C-band dish, 1.2 meter KU band dish, ASC1 mover, Octagon/Zgemma/Edison dual band STB's. Running OpenPli on all.

Interesting. He was stealing the signals from Comcast Cable and not Dish Network. That would explain why there was no Charlie lawsuit.

How the hell did he get so many cable subs? :scratchingmyhead:
