Adding to the ZGemma H7.n

Post by belter-one » Mon Sep 24, 2018 12:42 pm

Hello,

I am enjoying the ZGemma H7 receiver immensely. Being a linux fanboy, I am considering:

1. Adding a swap partition and additional HD space to the various partitions of the ZGemma H7 operating system.
2. Installing an x-server, x-screensaver, firewall program, web browser, vim, and other useful programs.
3. Only open source programs would be used.

Has anyone else ever done this? Are there caveats and/or legalities that I should be concerned about? This would be an awful lot of fun.
Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

belter-one

The only illegal add-ons I know of are Oscam, Ncam, CCcam that people use to descramble pay-tv channels. Also, any streaming/download app that can be used to receive copyright movies or TV shows. Everything else for linux should be 100% legal!
