PVR (Personal Video Recorder)- ZGemma H7 UHD - OpenATV

Post by HappySatellite » Fri Feb 15, 2019 6:44 am

With a PVR you can record your TV shows on Satellite and play them back when you have time to watch them. It is like a VCR but with a Hard Drive or USB storage device to save you shows. A cable company charges you a monthly fee to have one but you can buy one for $229.00 USD as part of the ZGemma h7 UHD Receiver

Yes,

This does indeed work great. I had three old PVR hard drives laying around the house that were toast due to direcTV's encryption. I bought two converter kits and performed a little surgery to convert the SATA to USB and they are now working great with the ZGemma and the other computers ant players and TV in the home. So, done on the cheap is working great, for now. Got a little more familiar with EXT4, exFAT and ntfs. Bonus! :bananna:

Having fun here, :innocent:
