3827H 6650 DVB-S transponder has changed.

Post by belter-one » Mon Jun 01, 2020 12:41 pm

Hello,

The transponder for the channels that were on 3827H 6650SR DVB-S has changed to:

4156 H
5790 SR
DVB-S2
8PSK
9/10

Does this match the results of other scans?

Cheers,

belter-one

Yes, that is correct. The new transponder has also been listed in the tvro satellite charts. I find the new transponder is about 2 dB of power below the old one but working great nevertheless!

Providers are starting to migrate programming to the upper C band to avoid 5G terrestrial interference. That should mean better reception for us c banders. :bigsmile
