That's a plus. Rainier, says they will be encrypted soon. How can you encrypt it when it's the broadcasters to start with???

Anything is possible, but broadcasters would be wasting their money encrypting. Their business model is not tied to subscriptions. If I were a broadcaster, would I spend tens of millions of dollars on scrambling encoders just so I could collect a few bucks per month in revenue from Ranier? :thinking

Pianist3, you wouldn't by any chance be the same person discussed in these freetoairamerica blogs? Your modus operandii does sound awfully familiar...

Extremely low power levels for me. Anybody else? I only register 9.5 dB on this mux while the same SD mux easily exceeds 17.0 dB!!!

Weak reception here too. They must be testing and will crank up the power when done.

A little on the low side but about 10Db so it's watchable with no breakups or artifacts.
10' Tek C-band dish, 1.2 meter KU band dish, ASC1 mover, Octagon/Zgemma/Edison dual band STB's. Running OpenPli on all.

Lolol naw man, it's all good. I had considered subscribing to Rainier, at one point. But when I seen what they had, and the equipment prices, it just wasn't worth it. I had seen on their site that the digits, would be scrambled soon. Any ways, I bought some equipment from tek2k, and different ones over the Ebay, and such. I also refurbished a 8 ft dish my friends folks had gave me.

Lol, what is funny to me is the fact I can find that cisco reciever, for one third less or half of what Rainier sells them for. Smh, and they act as if they are exclusive to them. :hammerme: :hammerme: :hehehe: :hehehe:

Had to scan mine using Ku Frequencies. No luck at my location scanning it a 5140. Channels look great.
