CBS and Fox on ku band

Been there for a while now. Worth checking out.

CBS is local affiliate KREX
Fox is local affiliate KFQX

Are these channels still up? I cant find them and wanted to eliminate user error.

Yes, they work for me. Mind you, a 1.2m offset dish or properly illuminated prime focus dish is needed to lock the signal. It is a bit weaker than most of the other stuff on this satellite.

That would be the problem then. I dont have either. Only an old dish network superdish. Thanks.

Dish network lnb won't work. You need a linear lnb for the FTA stuff.

The dish/dtv reflectors are also too small but I think they will pickup some FTA with a retrofitted linear lnb. In my case, I got a prime focus ku lnb riding shot gun with the c lnb on my 12 footer. Works better than those 120cm dishes too. :lol:

I replaced the lnb with a geosat lnb. I'm picking up many fta channels, just not this one.

I managed to get a lock with the superdish. I moved the dish to a place with a clearer line of sight. I got a lock on the ABC feeds, then raised the dish by .5 degree or so. According to my os mio I have a snr of 9.5db and BER:0.
