Bricked out of 89W for now. In Search of NOAA. Again.

Post by belter-one » Tue Nov 17, 2020 7:50 pm

Hello,

I am as of now unable to shoot through some trees to 89W. Would anyone be interested enough to check for the following transponder on this birdie? Here is some information parsed from the attached document:

4040V MHz
30000 SR (a.k.a. 30 Msps ?)
DVB-S2
16PSK FEC 2/3 and QSPK FEC 1/3

Any information on this will be appreciated, as it will be months before I am able to tune this birdie again.

Have a great BUD day,

I scanned the signal with the Edison and it is there, but I suppose you would need something else besides a receiver to see anything. No channels scanned in.

Excellent!

Thank you skink. Perhaps there will be sometime next year. I will also have 89W accessible again by then.

Much appreciated,
