Transponders up or down?

Post by belter-one » Tue Apr 14, 2020 7:31 pm

Hello,

Some of the C band transponders on 87W have increased in SNR since I trimmed some trees. However the two Ku transponders I am interested in are still blowing 0.0 SNR:

11811 H, DVB-S2, 8PSK, 11150-3/5 and
11960 H, DVB-S, QPSK, 29270-3/4 .

I just wanted to make sure these two are up and running, instead of trimming trees that don't need it. Any information on this would be helpful. A blind scan of this birdie on the Ku transponders does return some usable results, just not these two transponders.

Cheers and stay safe, :comp

Thank you,

Very useful information. Back to trimming I go, and also time to deploy the Ku dish.

Many thanks,
