I have a 12 footer coming from satellite gallore. I bought it on ebay.

I will post pics and do a thorough review once it arrives. :P

By the way, there is a review of a 10 ft mesh on this site by the same vendor.

Hi skink,

I've been using a 12ft mesh dish from satellites gallore for about 6 months. I paid $800 for it off ebay.

I also own a 10ft SAMI and I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality of this new dish was just as good if not better. It weighs about 140 - 150 lbs if I recall correctly and it is a solidly built dish.

As for performance, when I was using the SAMI (10ft), there were a few transponders on Galaxy 15 that would barely lock: Fox sports on 4100, 4120, 4140. With this 12footer, they now lock with a quality of 80%. I also have more signal quality on stuff coming from Latin America like SatMex and SES6.

I paid around $1200 for the 10ft SAMI from Rick's in 2009 and $800 for the 12ft from SG, so I would say it was a good deal!
12ft Mesh Dish (Satellites Gallore), 10ft SAMI, Chaparral C-Ku Corotor, 2 OpenboxS11, Az America S900, Azbox Me, Azbox Premium HD+, Azlink S1 HD, Prof 7500, Genpix Skywalker -1

Hi guys,

Mine arrived about a 1 week ago, but bad weather has delayed the installation.

I bought the 12foot mesh package with pole mast from satellites gallore.

There were a few scratches on one of the boxes, but they double box everything so no damage inside whatsoever. My only complaint is that the UPS guy left it in my driveway when I was not home, but that is okay since I have great neighbours. :hugging

I just finished bolting the pole in place today and hope to mount the dish later this week. The mesh panels are well constructed and the steel frame is heaaaaavy! I don't think the wind will be pushing this sucker around once its on the pole.

I will report back when I can track the satellites. For now, I got to read up on how to align it properly. :reading

Thank you Sigma and SG for the replies and photos. It does look like a fine reflector for C band reception.
