Velocity HD on 121W.

There are probably more, but you have to scan all the birds: 61W, 72W, 77W, 110W, 119W, 121W and 129W.

Keep in mind that they use 8PSK Turbo Fec for HD, so you need a compatible receiver.

Your only other option for Dish is IKS, but it freezes badly and the provider takes it down altogether every couple of months. These guys are in business to make money, so don't count on too many channels being FTA.

Some locals are occasionally FTA - but you need an 8PSK tuner.

A whole bunch of channels, many in HD, on 61.5W

Excellent programming like History Channel, A&E, Starz, Cinemax, Fox Sports and much more. About 20-30 channels are ITC on that satellite.

No need for Turbo Fec either...they are being broadcast in DVB-S. :P

Excellent find! Thanks a million!

TST55 on 12224 - R - 20000 - DVB-S shows (American) movies during the day and adult programming after midnight! :D

Not sure about the channel name, but it is probably Mexican or South American.

Everything else on that transponder is USA programming like AHC, History, Cinemax, Fox Sports, etc...

Perhaps these transponders are being prepared for Central or South American programming? I don't know, but tons of channels are coming online!

Enjoy!

Just pointed an 18 inch dish at 61.5 and getting 12224. Can't get the others though.
